How would you like to discover secrets from our past including super science and technology that are never taught in school? Many isolated clues from around the world show that everyday items familiar to us were known and used throughout the "prehistoric" world. Significantly, these are found in the ruins of inferior civilizations—after the superior technology had vanished. They are suggestive of what must have preceded them. Were you aware that in at least 64 scientific achievements an ancient civilization surpassed us?
Although Antarctica’s existence was not verified until 1819, an ancient map (2000 BC) shows that continent as it was BEFORE the ice covered it – with rivers and fjords precisely where today mile-thick glaciers flow, and a mountain range undiscovered until 1952. Longitude and latitude are shown correctly, with a grid system similar to modern air navigation maps. Here are more discoveries that will amaze you!  
Egypt 2000 BC: 1. Egyptians bored into granite rock with drills that turned 500 times faster than modern power drills. 2. Egyptian dentists worked with cement fillings, dental bridges... and inserted artificial teeth. 3. Sound waves used to open doors in ancient Karnak, Abydon and Thebes? 
Ancient China: 1. 2,500 years ago "mirrors" were invented which, set up in pairs, could transmit messages, like television. 2. X-rays were used in ancient China? 3. 716 rhythmically pulsating “electric” disks (similar to computer disks) were found in caves in the Bayan-Kara-Ula mountains. 
The Americas: 1. Captain Don Henry discovered a 400 foot pyramid on the seabed  off Florida. 2. The ancient Maya used screw propellors, had books with gold leaves... and even diving suits. 3. There is the mystery of that vast artificial tunnel in a remote corner of Ecuador, which was explored by astronaut Neil Armstrong. 
The Mediterranean: 1. The ancient Greece used devices for the automatic opening and closing of doors! 2. Near a Greek island, an acient technology was found that calculated the positions of the planets, the rising and setting of the moon, tide movements and time of day… and could establish a ship’s position anywhere on earth out of sight of land, or at night. This is a precise mechanics, as good as any we can produce today.  
Russia: Gold prospectors are finding ANCIENT, man-made, spiral-shaped artifacts 40 feet underground in Russia’s Ural region. These microscopically TINY artifacts are the  product of some inexplicable and highly advanced technology. They resemble control elements used in  micro-miniature devices  in our latest technology “nano-machines”. 
Babylon/ Fertile Crescent: In ancient Bablyon, protective face masks for patients undergoing radiation therapy, eye cataract operations were performed, electric dry-cell batteries were used as well as the use of sound waves to lift heavy weights. 
Australia: Did you hear about the wrecked Phoenician ship has been found on the West Australian coast. And other Phoenician evidence is found around the country. Near Sarina, Queensland, Val Osborne has discovered remains of a Phoenician port and mine from 900 BC?  Impossible, of course. We all know that ocean travel began only with Columbus - or with the Vikings? 
India, Pakistan: How about this? Advanced mathematics, with measurements in micro-fractions– down to the disintegration rates of sub-atomic particles (1/300 millionth of a second). Ask yourself this, how could these have been measured without precision instruments? And why did they find it necessary to measure them?

So what is the Singularity? You may have heard the term in popular media.

Think of it like this.

Currently, we have teams of designers making our technology. They lay out the pathways, they crunch the numbers, and they set forth the schematics to be created at a microprocessor factory (Commonly called a foundry).

True that they are aided by computers, but there is a still a human coming up with the plans, making the innovations.

What if the computers could do all the work without the humans? What if a computer could create a more advanced computer, which would in turn create a more advanced computer and so on?

Eventually it will reach a point where we wouldn’t understand, couldn’t understand, what was being created.

Machines making machines making machines. We see the signs already. Factories are automated. Simple robots perform tasks that men would do, before the microprocessor revolution.

Tech giants are debuting their so called “Smartcar” self-driving systems. Where will this leave the truck- driver? The taxi-driver? Will they be left in the dust like the factory workers of old?

From the development of the “spinning jenny”, an automation of the textile creation usually done by hand, we have started on a march to irrelevance.

If our technology progresses enough -and if current trends continue it will- how far will machines put working people out of a job?

The singularity should be a terrifying concept for anyone who looks at the world. A concept of humanity reduced.

Even now we see the patient robots of the automobile factories putting swaths of American workers out of a living.

What need does a robot have for rest? For wages?

If unchecked, only two classes of people will remain: Those who repair the machines, and those who create things that are so-far outside the realm of computation. Art and fiction, the realms of the mind.

Given a long enough timeframe even this will fall away, as greater and greater learning computers begin to mimic the patterns of the mind. Some would call them soul-less, but what difference does it make.

Where does it leave us, the many? The legion of people looking to make their way in the world? It leaves us in near-uselessness.

If the great thinking machines of the future reach a similar conclusion, then I fear for our children’s children. The horrors they may face.

Fiction like the terminator may not be fiction for much longer, if left unchecked.

The only solution is a return to honest labor, to a hard days toil without the yoke of convenience.

Reliance on technology to do a human’s job will lead us down this path, unless we find a way to balance with nature. To regain our stature and respect for the planet. This is not a certainty yet, but heed it as a warning.

Beware the unshackled march of the machines.
