Worst Monsoon in History - our PV team member is there!

Last week, a PV team member, Birendra Kumar, who also has his NGO in India, travelled from New Delhi to the property in Champaran (northeast India) to gather volunteers and begin to install a Phoenix Hamlet edible park.

On Sunday (August 13th) I received this message on my skype from Birendra:

"Good Morning Kerrie and bad news, all our building has sunk ~ the entire village, computer 💻 inverter and books 📚 are under water 💦 to save our life our team members are sitting on cub-board Worried but helpless."

And on Monday this was received:

​"I am fine but we are in big loss save 500 people today with NDRF"

He continues....

​"Now entire area is isolated as all connecting bridge is broken."

"Thank you for $70. I am buying some grain to distribute for relief work."

and today, Wednesday I received this on skype:

"I am safe but everything is destroyed...no place to sleep... all bedding office furniture documents all equipment s every thing spoiled."

​"Now I have to start from scratch and restore everything. I am very tensed and worried for college project now to restore everything... need $6500 for all damages."

and I replied : we will rebuild and fix up a little at a time. Just know that God is going to supply all.
