Autumn is such a great time! It is so rich in bright colors that it is simply impossible to sit indoors. Everybody enjoy this season’s beauty! Kids and adults get a lot of pleasure from autumn walks in the park. Autumn is the time of rains, as well. However, in spite of the weather, there are always opportunities to have fun We do not always realize how bad weather: rain, wind, and clouds can ruin our mood. Most likely, that is the cause of autumn depression. Nevertheless, there are plenty of activities to enjoy in fall and regain good spirits. Rainy day activities When it rains outside, art is here to help. Express your emotions on paper or paint a warm sunny landscape. Organize some literature games with family and friends: - Let everyone write one line each to compose a poem. - Ask the participants to rewrite some well-known story or tale, for it to take place in some very different surrounding (e.g. another planet). It will be fun! - Take a book from the shelf and do some fortune-telling, using random phrases from it as the answers. Cook some mug cakes. You can find numerous recipes online. They are easy to make, unusual and as a result, you will delight your family with a very tasty treat. There is nothing better than the smell of baking on a cool autumn day. Plan a trip to warm countries. Let everyone in your family take part in the choice of direction. Be sure to ask them what they want to see and where to go. Autumn is a good time to start yoga and meditation. According to scientists, meditation can significantly reduce stress. Spend more time with kids. If you have a small child, tell him how autumn is different from the rest of the seasons of the year. If your child is older, read some autumn nature stories. Discuss what you’ve just read. Sunny day activities If the autumn weather is good, go outside with a camera. Autumn is incredibly beautiful and you have a chance to take stunning pictures. The colorful trees are astonishing there. Warm sunny autumn days are rare so do not waste time: make some tasty sandwiches and go on a picnic. Also, you can make beautiful, bright leaf-garlands. a crown from branches, or dragonflies from maple seeds. Try painting on leaves as well. You can draw funny faces on them.
