The Edible Park Global Initiative from Phoenix Voyage is a mission to set up a network of parks for cultivating vegetable following the the principles of permaculture, a system that allows us all to live in a way that works with nature rather than fighting it. The parks so formed would act as an arena for the members of the community to hang around within a space that would be covered with lush greenery and hence, would provide a healthy ambiance for the community members to socialize Each edible park is custom designed to make the most use out of each deisgnated plot of land and includes vegetations like medicinal plants, perennial vegetable, shrubs, herbs as well fruit trees of various species. Participation in the project would enable the enthusiast of gardening to pamper their hobbies in a style that would bring many benefits to the community while the academic institutes participating in this project would get a space to arrange experiential field trips for fostering gardening and green initiatives among its students.  At Phoenix Voyage we have an incredible opportunity to educate the community using our latest cutting edge technology Health Dome. The Phoenix Centre Health Dome is a Dome structure that will be split up into different classrooms and studios. The Health Dome will be used primarily to educate the community on subjects such as malaria, malnutrition, prenatal care, emotional issues or any other issues that will benefit the community. There will be an opportunity for the individuals to make use of an extensive library collection which will have various topics such as topics on the importance of a healthy and strong immune system all the way through to technological breakthroughs. The Phoenix Innovation Academy has a groundbreaking new tool which will allow individuals who have no experience in software technology which will enable them to be able to program. The Academy's vision is to produce entertainment and education which falls under the category of edutainment. The software will allow people to design and write leading edge software. In this era, it is not only reading, writing and mathematics but in actual fact the application of being able to write software. Helios has been an active member of the community since January 2015. Helios loves the color green as he is all about going green and preventing pollution and restoring land and water. He loves to grow food and is involved with a Feed a Community Campaign. "I love the color green for many reasons. Namely green is found in trees, grass, insects and even superheroes such as the mask. The green chlorophyll is in leaves, grass, moss and algae which helps in the natural process used to create oxygen which is essential for the environment so that we can breath. Green is heavily integrated in the chakra system and is used to project love onto the environment which is a binding characteristic. According to color therapy, green integrates and calms the mind, balances the metabolism." Phoenix Voyage is designing an educational program used to draw in the youth into growing organic food. Frieburd has been flying the Phoenix Voyage mission since November 2014. It is Frieburd's job to introduce Phoenix Voyage Projects that have a great impact on our world. Our projects aim to touch the hearts and minds of global commmunities including projects that help feed people such as Feed A Community Initiative. We have a great educational package which covers all areas in an educational context called Phoenix Centers International. As we care very much about cleaning up the planet, we have an initiative which is aimed at cleaning up the earth called Operation: Earth CleanUp. We have an exciting new project which uses a comic medium to educate students on matters such as Nature, Science, New Technologies, Healing and more! There is a great resource section on the Phoenix Voyage homepage which aims to cover numerous subject areas for the individual to discover. We have many links to other websites which are interconnected which allows for a great opportunity to share resources. Phoenix Voyage's overall message is a message of hope and change. We understand that with the right awareness we are able to make changes.  There are many ways in which a community can work together to create a sustainable food solution. At Phoenix Voyage, we are dedicated to help feed and grow the community. A method which we have found most valuable is a method called aquaponics. Aquaponics is a system whereby the plants supply the nutrients to the water to feed the fish. The water is pumped around the system so that no water is wasted. The system is powered with a pump and is built using cost effective materials.
In the Phoenix Centre, we are able to supply the community with a Food Growth System. Phoenix Voyage supplies all the blueprints and the structures required to build the system which has been expertly designed by Global Aquatics LLC. Included in each Phoenix Center "core package" will be the materials for the structure, seeds and four types of fish. With over 40 years of experience Global Aquaponics LLC has developed a system which will feed the community for the whole year round. The community will be able to come in and learn about the way the food is produced. There will be opportunities for the community to experiment with different ways of cooking the food. The skills learnt can be outsourced to other locations as aquaponics is becoming a widely recognised way of producing sustainable food solutions.  The Phoenix Centre is equipped with an experiential learning experience. Phoenix Voyage brings the most fun, inspirational and experiential learning experience. Students will learn first hand how to build the centre, develop and understand the community business and they will have the opportunity to perform in a theatre production.
The educational package with be presented as a Basic Education. The Basic Education package is provided as a “core package”. The Core Package offers online educational programs for ages 5-18 years. There will also be a student assessment program where Phoenix Voyage will keep track of the students progression. This will be used to assess the level of the student. This will afford the opportunity to be equipped with a personalized curriculum. If the student falls behind, they will have an opportunity to catch up with a more intensive curriculum. A Global Communications Device has excitingly being used as an open architecture using internet and digital technologies. Providing cutting edge transmission technology. This will enable live streaming, teleconferencing and distance education. Phoenix Voyage has an intensive library stocked with 5000 books with comfortable spaces to relax. The library will have story time telling, poetry reading and book club gatherings. The experiential learning experience will also accommodate adults as our view is that there is no extra charge for extending literacy. |
