Hunger is always an issue in any country and Phoenix Voyage is on a mission to help create organic gardens in every household, school and orphanage. We have free booklets and lots of gathered resources on how to grow organic food outdoors  as well as indoors!
Phoenix Voyage is visiting Mexico for the month of February!

For the second week in Mexico, we travelled to Mazatlan to meet with James, a partner of Phoenix Voyage who is working on a large humanitarian project (more information coming about that later).
We happened to meet a man who is the director of an orphanage while in Mazatlan and went to visit the children on Sunday, February 9th, 2020 and loved the spirit of the community. They have a large space but do need support with a few things and we are hoping the Phoenix Voyage community could lend a hand. You can view the slideshow to see the needs.

Director of the orphanage, Gerardo Jaime Ramirez, happy to receive turtle gift!
Phoenix Voyage gifted the orphanage with a large turtle made from solid concrete....and he was warmly received. Little Sofia was quick to sit on their new mascot, Hermin the turtle!

Thank you so much, Phoenix Voyage for your presence in Mexico, helping us in such a wonderful Humanitarian Project.
We invite [you] to parcipate in Mazatlan [with] all companies which can donate tiles, soil, wood, food to the Orphan La Mission. Come to visit them and see how you can help as a community. There [is] a lot to do to finish the house to make it more comfortable for the kids who are living there, and the kids who are coming every Saturday to eat, and receiving educational studies.

We thank one more time to Phoenix Voyage for coming to Mexico and help[ing] us.

Exciting experience that the whole family have had that make up the Casa Hogar La Mission. They were planting and sowing fruits and vegetables in their garden with the help of Kerrie, the Director of Phoenix Voyage Internationa.

Now the garden looks very pretty and says Mrs. Lupita Ramos who is the wife of the director of the Hoga house who will continue with the necessary care to have their fruits and vegetables for their own consumption and thus be more sustainable. We appreciate the help of Phoenix Voyage for this beautiful humanitarian work that has reached Mazatlan.
